Latinx Heritage Month is about shining a light on the Latinx community. In 2021, together with TikTok, we celebrated Latinx Heritage Month, and TikTok creators, with a campaign titled “De Nada, America.”

“De nada, America” is an unapologetic message about the contributions the Latinx community has made to culture and to the DNA of America.

When something’s Latinx Created, it just hits differently. They’re the kind of creations that make people want to say “thank you.” And so our campaign says “you’re welcome” on behalf of those creators.

The campaign included a kickoff on September 15 with a manifesto video, followed by weekly livestreams, murals across New York, California, and Texas, and more. The key campaign designs were created together with artist Niege Borges. Throughout the various activations, we celebrated TikTok’s 2021 Latinx Trailblazers, along with the whole #latinxcreated community, and showed the impact of their contributions.
