Overview

As VP, Group Account Director, you are the heartbeat of the client-agency relationship. You’ll lead integrated campaigns across traditional, digital, social, mobile, and retail channels—driving creative excellence and strategic impact. This role is about building trust, inspiring teams, and shaping work that moves culture. Location: New York (preferred) or Miami (alternative)

Qualifications

  • 12–14 years of experience in fast-paced agency environments.
  • Proven leadership in Account/Brand Director roles, with a track record of successful pitches and new business wins.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with deep knowledge of both the US General Market and multicultural consumer segments—especially those with a strong Latino audience—is required
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing remote teams and navigating tight deadlines with grace.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead the Business & Relationship

  • Serve as the senior strategic partner to clients, guiding brand development and momentum.
  • Own the scope of work and drive organic growth across assigned business units.
  • Lead client presentations and manage advertising budgets with precision and insight.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships rooted in trust and shared ambition.

Champion Creative Excellence

  • Collaborate with Planners and Creatives to bring bold ideas to life.
  • Guide the team through the creative process, ensuring work is both strategically sound and culturally resonant.
  • Actively participate in research, testing, and stimulus development to elevate the work.

Inspire & Grow Talent

  • Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and lead performance reviews.
  • Teach the art of delivering client feedback and navigating creative conversations.

Drive Integration & Innovation

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across agency departments and Publicis partner agencies.
  • Understand and activate agency initiatives (Social, Innovation, Connections) in service of client goals.
  • Monitor scope and identify opportunities for expansion or optimization.

Compensation Range: $146,490 - $230,460 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
