Overview

The Community is expanding our US Hispanic Creative teams by hiring a Senior Copywriter to join our team on a full-time basis in our Miami office, in office three times per week. Talent must be in the US to be considered for this position. The ideal candidate for this position has experience writing for US General Market, National or Global brands in English. Under the supervision of and working closely with the Creative Leads, the Senior Copywriter will be responsible for helping concept copywriting ideas & efforts for agency clients. This role will focus on General Market targeted content and will work closely with Senior Art Directors to establish the identity and personality of the products assigned and ensure the team's creative efforts are impactful. Additionally, the Senior Copywriter will be involved in all stages of the advertising process including initial idea creation to ensure anticipated creative ideas can be achieved based on the platform, technical and artistic needs, and budgets proposed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in a copywriting capacity at an advertising agency creating content on large Global clients..
  • Strong conceptual thinking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – ability to interact with team and clients in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for client meetings, shoots, etc.
  • Experience overseeing and/or mentoring junior writers.
  • Outstanding creativity and ability and strong concept skills.
  • Ability to write content and copy in wide variety of styles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Bachelor’s in advertising or communications or foreign equivalent a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Creating of succinct concepts that work for bilingual (Spanish) copy for projects inclusive of creative, retail copy, radio, TV scripts, print, out of home, in-store signage, etc.
  • Develop, create and execute written communication strategies and tactics for assigned clients.
  • Determine tone, style and structure of content based on client’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with creative team on new business pitches to develop and shape brands and their messaging.
  • Interact with project teams to ensure tone, style and structure support the concept.
  • Actively contribute to strategic brainstorming campaign development, creative brief development and execution.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
