This is not college.

Despite what the clever name implies

While you might be in college (or grad school), this program isn’t college.

It’s advertising in the real world. Real creativity, real brands, real deadlines, and real challenges. It’s the kind of work that could lead to a future in advertising. If that's the kind of internship you're looking for, keep reading.

With community college, you’ll join us for 10 weeks to work together, side by side.

Our name is the idea behind everything we do. It’s a simple reminder of who we are and what we value. When we started we saw ourselves as a group of people more than an agency. People who believed in ideas and each other. This is what we keep front and center. And up on a neon sign.

What type of person are you?

IT TAKES A LOT OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEOPLE TO KEEP AN AGENCY AGENCY-ING.

Well, you’re a great person because you’re here. But what are you into? Copywriting? Strategy? We’ve got something for everyone.
This summer, our community college program will be hybrid. A little bit virtual, a little bit in the office (in New York or Miami).

ACCOUNTS
Our brand teams are the liaison between clients and the agency. You’ll be joining the front line and also connecting with just about every other department in the agency. Basically keep the agency running, all while fighting tooth and nail for the best possible idea to win out. Applications are now closed for 2023.

CREATIVE—ART DIRECTOR
Do you obsess over the way your artistic creations look?  Whether you’re drawing, doodling, or designing, we’ve got the internship for you! Our Art Director intern will work closely with Copywriting to concept and execute against creative briefs for existing clients.  Applications are now closed for 2023.

STRATEGY
Curious about the thinking behind the ad? How  we strategically figure out the right audience? Strategy may be for you! This role is a chance to discover new cultural insights bubbling below the surface and use them to inspire clients and creatives to make brands more interesting. And use a lot of big words that may or may not be real. Applications are now closed for 2023.

CREATIVE—COPYWRITER
Do you love writing? Do you have a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind? With copywriting, there’s no “day to day” in your job because every day is a new medium, a new message, and a new chance to make brilliant creative. Our Copywriting intern will work closely with Copywriting to concept and execute against creative briefs for existing clients. Applications are now closed for 2023.

  • HOW MANY INTERNS ARE HIRED?

    This year, we’re looking for around 8 interns to join us!

  • DO WE HAVE OPEN POSITIONS TO HIRE INTERNS AFTER THE PROGRAM?

    The community is constantly hiring. The specific open roles for fall are still TBD but there’s no better way to be considered by our teams than to get your foot in the door as an intern.

  • WHO SHOULD APPLY?

    College students (rising juniors & seniors) and recent graduates (grad students included) pursuing a degree in advertising, communications, or related fields are preferred.

  • WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

    Excellent storytelling, verbal/written communication skills, collaborative spirit. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Contagious curiosity and creativity.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT STUDENTS ON VISAS OR WHO LIVE OUT OF THE COUNTRY?

    At this time, our community college program is only for those who live and have legal working status in the US.

  • WILL YOUR PROGRAM BE IN PERSON?

    For the summer of 2024, we’re aiming for a hybrid experience, both in office and at home. Your safety matters most to us, and we know how to have a good time whether we’re in a juice bar IRL or hanging out on Teams.
